International Students
A wide variety of scholarships are available for international students who plan to attend university in New Zealand. Click on the links below to find out what scholarships each university has to offer. Canterbury link will require you to create a login to search, and you will need to refine the search to international students
AUT has a number of scholarships that are available for international students. The complete list is here.
Scholarships for students from specific countries include
South Asia: Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives

Note. International Students are not eligible for flagship school leaver scholarships at AUT
The Auckland University International Student page is very good and out lines quite clearly what scholarships you are eligible for.
The big one is the Auckland University International Excellence Student Scholarship which opens on the 10th of October 2024
Scholarships are available for students from the following specific countries
ASEAN Countries Brunei Darussalam, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam
Dean's Asia Scholarship in the Faculty of Business and Economics For students from Asian Countries
The following scholarships are available for students currently enrolled at high school in New Zealand
University of Auckland International School Leavers Scholarship Does not open until December
Beatrice Ratcliffe Entry Level Scholarship in Music
Chillisoft Scholarship in Cyber Security
Note. International Students are not eligible for flagship scholarships at Auckland

The following scholarships can be applied for by International Students who have completed at least one year of high school in NZ
Outstanding Impact Scholarship (Academic Excellence)
UC Haupatu Scholarship (for outstanding athletes)
UC Mathematics and Statistics Aspire Scholarship BA, BDataSci, or BSc degree and majoring in Data Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
UC Product Design Scholarship Students Entering Bachelor of Product Design
UC School of Forestry High Achievers Award Students studying degrees in forestry
Note. Some of the flagship scholarships at UC are available to International Students
International students who have completed Year 12 and 13 in New Zealand can apply for many of the standard School Leaver Scholarships.
