Your Education is a New Zealand based high school student exchange provider bringing you a high quality exchange experience with attention and care.  

On a high school exchange, you go and live in another country for a chosen period of time, during which you will attend a local high school and live with a host family. You must be between 15 and 18 years old to be eligible for an exchange. The time you are away can be anything from four weeks to a year. You live your normal life like you do here in New Zealand - you go to school, you catch up with friends, and you help out by keeping your room tidy (right?). Except in the case of student exchange, you do all of this in another country - learning about a new culture and possibly even a new language, living with a new family, and hanging out with new friends. 

There are 11 exciting countries waiting to be discovered: Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Spain, Sweden, The UK, and the USA.

Explore the World by Volunteering with New Ventures Worldwide!  Do you want to make a difference while exploring the world? New Ventures Worldwide offers exciting volunteering placements in eight programmes worldwide starting in January 2025! 

Volunteer positions in the United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Ghana, Australia, Argentina and Poland.

Gap Year Opportunities for 17 to 18-Year-Olds:

We often receive enquiries from 17-year-olds looking to start a gap year in January, but they must be 18 to apply for a visa. Our Outdoor Camp placements, running from March to June, give them more time. Even if they turn 18 in May, they can still begin their gap year in June. 

Europe Programme for New Zealanders:

We’ve developed an exclusive programme for New Zealanders to explore Europe while gaining valuable experience. This programme includes placements at a school in Spain or Poland, followed by an outdoor camp experience in the UK. It’s a wonderful opportunity for young people to immerse themselves in new cultures, develop skills, and make a positive impact.

It's no secret that working overseas is one of the most transformative things a young person can do - helping your students to grow personally and professionally. But we also know that getting there is tougher than it has been for previous generations. That's why all our opportunities include a pre-arranged job or internship support - helping them to start earning or learning as soon as they land. 

Now open for the 2025 season! A bootcamp for their resume - every year we support hundreds of students and young people to work for nine weeks at summer camp in America. They'll live in amazing wilderness locations, help to shape the lives of their campers, and come away with a ton of leadership skills that future employers will love. Plus, with a minimum USD $2,000 salary with meals and accommodation included - it's the ultimate way to fund their time overseas. 

Working holidays are available in Canada, The United Kingdom, or Japan.
